Operated Rental
Certified operators, so you can stay focused on your own work.
The machine and the operator, both from us
With operated rental, finding a qualified operator, checking their certification and carrying the safety responsibility stops being your problem. The platform or crane arrives with someone who knows how to run it, and you stay focused on your own work.
When operated rental makes sense
- You have no certified operator for that machine class on site
- The job is short and training your own staff is not worth the time
- The machine is high capacity and needs experience
- The lift is delicate and leaves little room for error
- You prefer the safety responsibility to stay with the rental company
Mobile cranes are rented with an operator by default; that is a safety requirement rather than a preference. See crane rental.
What our operator brings to site
- Operator certification for the machine class in use
- Personal protective equipment: helmet, harness, high visibility vest, safety boots
- Machine documents and the daily inspection form
Before starting, the operator checks the ground, the work area and the machine. If conditions are not safe, work stops and we solve the problem with you. It may look like a delay, but next to the cost of an accident it is the cheapest decision available.
Working hours
| Standard day | 8 working hours on site |
|---|---|
| Overtime | Charged hourly and shown separately in the quote |
| Shift work | A second operator is planned for long running jobs |
| Travel and accommodation | Stated openly in the quote for out of town work |
If you would rather your own team ran the machine
When it is cheaper for your own crew to operate, we provide operator training. Once trained, your team can rent machines without an operator on future jobs.
Fill in the quote form and we will show operated and non operated options side by side.
