Maintenance & Service
Scheduled servicing, on site repair and original spare parts.
Servicing for machines you own
Our maintenance service is not limited to the machines we rent out. We also carry out scheduled servicing, breakdown repair and spare part supply for companies running their own fleet. Brand is not an issue: we work on scissor, articulated, telescopic and vertical mast platforms as well as forklifts.
What scheduled servicing covers
- Hydraulics: leak checks, hoses and fittings, oil and filter changes
- Electrics: battery health, charger, cabling and connectors
- Engine and drivetrain: oil, filters and belts on diesel machines
- Safety devices: emergency stop, tilt sensor, overload warning, ground control panel
- Structure: scissor arms, pins, bushings, guardrails and gate latches
- Running gear: wheels, tyres or tracks, and brake testing
We leave a written service record listing the work done and the parts replaced. It makes the machine history easy to follow and simplifies statutory inspections.
Breakdown response
When a fault is reported we first try to diagnose it by phone; a large share of faults come from batteries, chargers or the safety circuit and can be cleared without a visit. If that fails, our service vehicle comes to site. If the repair will run long and the work cannot wait, we send a replacement machine.
Spare parts
We supply hydraulic hoses, valves, control boards, batteries, filters, tyres and safety equipment. Before fitting a part we confirm the actual cause of the fault; a part replaced on a wrong diagnosis costs both money and time.
Servicing is not statutory inspection
Scheduled servicing keeps the machine running. Statutory periodic inspection is a separate process carried out and reported by authorised bodies. We keep the machine serviced and inspection ready, and remind you when the date approaches.
