Scissor Lifts
The widest platform and highest capacity in vertical lifting. The standard machine for ceiling, lighting and services work.
When is a scissor lift the right choice?
A scissor lift raises the platform vertically only. It cannot reach sideways, but in exchange it offers a larger platform and higher load capacity than boom lifts of the same class. That makes it the most economical option whenever you can bring the machine directly beneath the work.
Typical uses
- Ceiling and suspended ceiling installation, lighting replacement
- HVAC, sprinkler and electrical services
- Warehouse racking installation and maintenance
- Facade cleaning and painting
Electric or diesel?
The ground decides. Indoors on level concrete use electric scissor lifts; on open, uneven sites use diesel scissor lifts.
If an obstacle sits between the machine and the work point, a scissor lift will not do the job — look at articulated boom lifts instead.
