Crane or platform?
The rule is simple: a crane lifts loads, a platform lifts people. A crane basket is not designed to carry people. Our cranes are always rented with an operator; we do not hand them over without one.

- Erecting advertising towers and masts
The capacity trap
The tonnage on a capacity chart applies at the shortest radius and falls as the radius grows. So "how many tonnes" has no answer on its own. The crane is selected — and a lift plan drawn up — by weighing the load, where the crane can stand and where the load must go.
